About Me

My name is Rebecca Boone and I am a freelance photographer located in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley. I have grew up and been in the Winchester area my whole life and love to show the beauty of my hometown through my photographs. Whether that is on a farm, on a ball field or somewhere that is special to you! I want to capture what makes you and your family who you are. Everyone always asks me well "what is your expertise" or "what do you enjoy photographing most?" Honestly I love it all! I want to do what I enjoy so much and capture what is so special to you. With Bec's Endless Creations I want to capture memories that will last a lifetime. My clients become family; photos are something special that build those personal relationships. Each and every client can be themselves while showing their personality, and knowing that personality is where the best pictures come from.

Just a little bit more about me, I'm 23 years old and an only child. I have grown up with my parents Jamie and Michelle. They both have pushed me to be the person that I have become and to follow my dreams! I have a chocolate lab named Shadow and he is the brother that I never had. He makes his appearance in many of my photographs. I also have a cat, Tigger, but he's not as photogenic as Shadow is, but I take what I can get. Some of my other hobbies include softball, hiking, and anything else that involves the outdoors. I am also a major Disney fan, one for the amazing photo opportunities and for the fun! I am very outgoing and a people pleaser, which allows me to make the best out of every shoot, while getting a few special shots that your average photographer might miss.

Experience

I just recently graduated from Eastern Mennonite University in Harrisonburg Virginia with a Photography, Marketing and Business triple major. My interest in photography grew over the 4 years I was at college. I have field experience both in and outside of the classroom. I continue to test my limits by thinking outside of the box and pushing my comfort zone in all varieties of photography, from portraiture to working in nature. Being behind the camera presents endless possibilities to continue to grow my knowledge and experience over the next half of my college career.

3 summers ago I was able to test some ideas that I have had regarding using water balloons for some softball images. This quickly grew as I found that I could test other sports and then that flour could also be used to create some amazing "special" effects. This has become one of my favorite things to do and I'm still experimenting with new ideas and other sports! In the last year I have also shot two more weddings and had my experience as a second shooter, which gave me so much more knowledge and I was grateful for the opportunity.

I have experience working with Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. After college I want to work in Marketing to allow myself to use my degrees simultaneously by integrating my photography and business skills to be a well rounded coworker.
